Insurance Survey

An insurance survey is often required by an insurance company to determine whether or not the vessel is an acceptable risk. This survey examines the structural integrity of the vessel and the vessel’s safety for its intended use. It also includes the vessel’s fair market value.

Appraisal Inspection

An appraisal survey is often required for financing, estate settlements, donations, and legal cases and gathers enough information to justify or determine the fair market value of the vessel.

Pre-Purchase Survey

Before purchasing a vessel, buyers should understand the vessel’s condition and fair market value. Don’t wait until after the purchase to survey your vessel. Most insurance companies and banks require a marine survey for vessels to assess the vessel’s condition and fair market value for underwriting or financing. Marinas will also require a survey of your vessel to purchase or rent a slip.

Safety. Integrity. Commitment.
